46 SCHOOLS REPRESENTING 6,721 STUDENTS participate in Dr. Cupp’s PayDay Update
Program.
The overall averages for kindergarten and first grade are as follows:
Kindergarten overall average number of sight words mastered: 42
Kindergarten overall average book level: Book 12
First Grade overall average number of sight words mastered: 156
First Grade overall average book
level: Book 40
On the following pages, you will find a breakdown of results for three groups of schools. If you participate in the PayDay Update program, look for your code on the appropriate list:
Chart I only (if you are a core school reporting only K and 1st),
Charts I & III (if you are a core school reporting additional EIP or special needs classes in addition to K & 1st),
Chart II (if you are a partial use school) or
Charts II and III (if you are a partial use school that also reports higher grade level EIP or special needs students as a separate entity).
If you are a school that just starting PayDay Updates, you will appear on Chart II as a partial use school (in terms of the school year data collection).
Simply use these definitions and look for your school code number on one or more of the reports to find your particular school as it relates to the progress in other similar schools. Further notations appear on each report
